In a landslide, Longhorns won the Betsy Rawls Invitational on Tuesday at the UT Golf Club. Led by senior Sophia Schubert, who won the individual portion of the tournament, Texas claimed victory by 15 strokes over second-place Furman.
Matching the longest undefeated streak in program history is usually cause for celebration. But the No. 7 Longhorns stayed solemn after another lackluster performance earned the team its second-straight tie on Friday evening at the Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The Longhorns participated in their second fall tournament of the season this past weekend in Southern California at the ITA All-American Championships, one of the biggest tournaments in collegiate tennis.
