Baylor coach Kim Mulkey confirmed with the Austin America-Statesman that North Texas head coach Karen Aston will take over the Texas program from Gail Goestenkors who resigned after Texas’ first round bow out of the NCAA tournament.

The championship is awarded to the team that collects the most team points at the end of the three-day meet. Points are given based on finishing positions in each race.
Cinderella teams have come and gone, a couple of big name programs are now looking forward to next season after being eliminated, and the second week of the NCAA tournament is yet to get underway.
