A week after Texas men's athletics' club of retired jerseys added nine more to its member list, the Texas Women's Hall of Honor Committee announced the ninth class of inductees into the Women's Hall of Honor Thursday.
This year's class will feature: Angie Bradburn Spangler, a two-time national high-jump champion during the late '80s; Hattie Browning, a standout guard during the rise of Texas' women's basketball squad; Kim Linehan McCormick, a six-time NCAA champion in three different swim events; Suziann Reid, who won 10 NCAA track titles; and Becky Bludau Marshall, the first full-time athletic trainer in Texas' history.
The five inductees will be honored with a Nov. 7 ceremony in the Frank Erwin Center.
