In 1984, Texas swept Oregon in Berkeley, California, to continue on and win the AIAW Championship. Four years later, the Longhorns would become national champions.
The Longhorns earned a spot in Saturday evening’s National Championship match by defeating Michigan 3-2 Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
