The ultimate goal of the World Trials is to qualify for the 2013 FINA World Championships which are to be held in Barcelona, Spain from July 19 to August 4.
Members of both the women’s and men’s track and field teams competed in the 2013 USA Outdoor Championships last week with athletes participating in championship finals, while senior Danielle Dowie competed in the Jamaican national championships.
