Two weeks after capturing their second victory of the season, the Longhorns will take to the course once again this weekend in the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas.
While students enjoy the fun and relaxation of spring break, the Texas Longhorns women’s golf team will prepare for the upcoming Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate at the Forest Hills Golf Course in Augusta, Ga.
UT’s tennis teams will start using the Edgar O. and Melanie A. Weller Tennis Center, an $8.8 million indoor facility that opened last Wednesday at Steiner Ranch.
Women’s Rowing is off to a great start as The Heart of Texas races wrapped up Saturday afternoon in the Women’s open finals. Texas swept top victories across the board in the open 8+, novice 8+ and novice 4+ divisions.
Noel Scott was in a position to clinch the doubles point and later the match against Rice. Both times she came up short and the Longhorns lost to the Owls.
Both of Texas’ swimming and diving teams took home the team Big 12 championship Saturday after four days of competition. It is the men’s 17th Big 12 title and the women’s 11th.
