Longhorns women’s golf team to a tie for third place in Sunday’s opening round of the SDSU Farms Invitational.

Despite earning five individual All-America finishes and recording one All-America relay at the NCAA Championships, Texas fell short of gaining the national title. 

The Longhorns began their 2013 Texas Relays campaign Thursday afternoon when the 400-meter hurdle preliminary race took place.

Two tournaments remain before postseason play begins for the Longhorns.
