Topping a national championship from the year before can be tough, but last week the Longhorns accomplished something the team from last year didn’t: win a Big 12 title.
The Longhorns traveled to Norman, Okla. for the Big 12 Championships this past weekend, where they suffered a crushing defeat in the semifinal round against No.14 ranked Oklahoma.
The Longhorns will have to wait to continue their quest to win their first Big 12 Championship after third-round action was canceled Tuesday due to the ice and cold.
The Longhorns will look to take their first Big 12 title since 2004 when they compete in the Big 12 Championships in Hutchinson, Kan., Monday through Wednesday.
