Viewpoint: Diversity and bitter engagement
Our vice president of diversity and community engagement certainly engaged students Wednesday night - in a heated dispute marked by indignation and emotion. The Multicultural Information Center (including representatives of black, Asian-American, American Indian and Hispanic student groups) was moved from the Office of Student Affairs to the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement in the 2006-2007 school year.…

Thanks, top 10 percent rule

Psychics not all they're cracked up to be
When my friend Maria asked if anybody wanted to join her at a psychic fair, I jumped at the chance. She was writing a paper about pseudoscience and decided she could get a better handle of the subject by attending the fair.
I'll admit, I'm fiercely skeptical when it comes to all things paranormal.…
