'Forbidden Kingdom' is a martial arts paradise

This is the film that marital arts fans have been waiting for. Starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li, "Forbidden Kingdom" follows Jason Tripitikas as he embarks on a quest to return a staff to the Monkey King and save the kingdom from eternal darkness under the Jade Warlord. Joined by Lu Yan, The Drunken Immortal (Chan), Lan Tsai Ho, the Silent Monk (Li) and Golden Sparrow (Liu Yi Fei), Jason goes on an adventure full of epic visuals and classic fight scenes, including a much-anticipated showdown between Chan and Li that doesn't disappoint. Although a bit predictable at times, the film holds true to the desires of real martial arts fans while paying homage to martial arts greats of the past, including Bruce Lee and The Shaw Brothers.
