The Cohen New Works Festival, a weeklong showcase of original pieces created by members of the UT Department of Theatre and Dance, begins tonight at 6:30 with a performance of the Japanese-influenced "Pretty" by the Theatre of Yugen at the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre.
Throughout the week of April 9-15, the festival will showcase 29 new pieces, as well as several guest performances, parties, installations and exhibits.
Due to the festivities, all classes held in the Winship Drama building are canceled.
