Vocalist and violinist Ian Stewart,16, performs with Austin band Fireants in the concourse of the Barbara Jordan Passenger Terminal in Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Thursday evening. Fireants, which includes guitarist Zeke Jarmon and drummer Victor Ziolkowski, are among five teen and preteen music groups performing this week at the airport. The group played a selection of covers and original compositions with a unique blend of rock and folk influences. Fireants will be performing at the Austin Ice Cream Festival on Aug. 9 at Waterloo Park.
