Lt. Todd Radford of the Lakeway Police Department carries a U.S. Flag of Honor through the concourse of the Barbara Jordan Passenger Terminal in the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Thursday afternoon. The flag, which flew over the Texas Capitol on Sept. 11, 2001, has flown in Iraq, Afghanistan and locations around the U.S. by Leander-based non-profit organization Honor Network. The Lakeway Police Department on Thursday took possession of the flag so that they could fly it during Fourth of July celebrations over the weekend. The police department received the flag in honor of the department's work in helping disabled veterans.
